ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to modify the order dated 27.03.2025 and grant police protection to the petitioner as and when represented by the petitioner to the 2nd respondent.

2. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the main prayer sought in the writ petition is for grant of police protection to the petitioner. Though this Court has granted interim injunction and also had made it absolute, the prayer regarding grant of police protection was not granted. Accordingly, he seeks for modification of the same.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 2nd respondent.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the order dated 27.03.2025. Accordingly, paragraph No.4 of the order shall read as follows : "4. In view of the above, the 2nd respondent is directed to provide police protection to the petitioner as and when sought for. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs."

5. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary corrections in the order dated 27.03.2025 and issue a fresh copy of the order to the learned counsel for the parties. In all other respects, the earlier order dated 27.03.2025 shall remain unaltered.
