O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to give suitable police protection to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondent police.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the disputed property and that the suit filed by the opposite party in O.S.No.200 of 2015 has been dismissed on 02.08.2016 by the Wakf Tribunal (Principal Sub Judge), Cuddalore and therefore, the petitioner is seeking police protection.

4. In a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., no direction as prayed for can be granted in view of the law laid https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in State of Punjab Vs. Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar and others [(2011) 14 SCC 770]. The petitioner has given a complaint, based on which petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.107 of 2016. The respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR.No.107 of 2016 by calling all the parties and take action in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
