This petition has been filed to delete the name of the petitioner/1st respondent herein namely the State of Tamil Nadu, rep.

by the Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Fort St. George, Chennai-600 009 from the cause title of the above Writ Petition No.5453 of 2006 on the ground of mis joinder of the parties.

2. When the matter was taken up today for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that he is not pressing this petition and also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission and endorsement made by the learned Government Advocate, this petition is dismissed as not pressed.
