The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the complaint dated 19.11.2015 and initiate legal action acting in accordance with law.
2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against one Lalitha and her family members on the allegation of cheating the chit amount. But no action has been taken on the said complaint till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present criminal original petition.
3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, a detailed enquiry was conducted on the complaint given by the petitioner and thereafter, the said complaint was closed. He also produced a copy of the closure report before this Court.
5. In view of the submissions made on either side, as the complaint given by the petitioner has already been closed, nothing survives in this petition and hence this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
