ORDER

This revision has been preferred as against the judgment passed in Crl.A.No.130 of 2022 on the file of the I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruppu, thereby confirming the judgment dated 06.09.2022 made in S.T.C No.290 of 2019 on the file of the Juidicial Magistrate (Fast Track Court), Tiruppur, under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act.

2. The petitioner is an accused for the complaint lodged for the offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments, in S.T.C No.290 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, (Fast Tack Court), Tiruppur. After the full-fledged trial, the trial Court found the petitioner guilty under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced him to undergo six months simple imprisonment and also awarded compensation of Rs.3,00,000/-, in default to undergo one month simple imprisonment. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal in Crl.A.No.130 of 2022 before the I Additional District and Sessions Court, Tiruppur and the same was also dismissed confirming the judgment passed by the trial Court. Hence, the present revision is 2/4

filed by the petitioner.

3. Pending revision, the parties have entered into a compromise and the entire amount has been settled in favour of the respondents herein. To that extent, the respondents also issued a receipt and they have no objection in setting aside the conviction as against the petitioner herein.

4. In view of the above, the Judgment dated 24.02.2025 passed in Crl.A.No.130/2022 by the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruppur, confirming the Judgment and conviction passed by the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Tiruppur, in S.T.C No.290/2019, dated 06.09.2022 are hereby set aside. The receipt dated 26.03.2025 shall form part and parcel of this order.
