PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, Calling for the entire records connected with the impugned order in No.40287/ L2/ 2020 dated 10.06.2024 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to fix the guideline value for the properties situated at Maharaj Nagar Vijayapuram Thiruvarur by constituting the Sub-Committee as contemplated under Rule 3 of the Tamil Nadu Stamp (Constitution of value Committee for Estimation Publication and Revision of Market Value Guidelines of properties) Rules 2010 within a time frame fixed by this court. ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed for the following relief:- Calling for the entire records connected with the impugned order in No.40287/ L2/ 2020 dated 10.06.2024 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to fix the guideline value for the properties situated at Maharaj Nagar Vijayapuram Thiruvarur by constituting the Sub-Committee as contemplated under Rule 3 of the Tamil Nadu Stamp (Constitution of value Committee for Estimation Publication and Revision of Market 2/4

Value Guidelines of properties) Rules 2010 within a time frame fixed by this court.

2.In the light of the general revision that has now been made with reference to the lands forming part of Maharaja Nagar layout in Vijayapuram, Thiruvarur, by constituting the Sub-Committee as contemplated under Rule 3 of the Tamil Nadu Stamp (Constitution of Value Committee for Estimation, Publication and Revision of Market Value Guidelines of Properties) Rules, 2010, the present Writ Petition has become infructuous. It is well open to the petitioner to challenge the general revision amount arrived at the general revision in the manner known to law.

3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
