ORDER

Heard Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.J.Sivakumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and with the consent of the eitherside, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner School dated 18/07/2016 on payment of charges as per Challan No.M5880847 for renewal of permit for Educational https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Institutional Vehicle bearing Regn. No.TN-29-Q-7440, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.Earlier the petitioner has approached this Court for an identical relief in respect of another bus owned by the School and in the instant case, the petitioner seeks for the same relief in respect of the bus bearing registration no. TN-29-Q7440. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that similar direction may be issued in the instant case also.

4.In the earlier writ petition in W.P.No.31111 of 2015, by an order dated 16.10.2015, this Court had issued a direction to the respondent to consider the application for renewal of permit, if it is otherwise in order and necessary orders be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks.

5.In the light of the above, a similar direction is issued in this writ petition also and the respondent herein is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 18/07/2016 pertaining to renewal of permit of the bus bearing Regn. No.TN29-Q-7440 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
