By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the Town President of District Congress Committee of Vaniyampadi and he belongs to Indian National Congress Party. The petitioner avers among https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

other things, that there exists a statue of "Perunthalaivar Kamarajar" situate at Kacheri Road, Vaniyampadi, Vellore District, and it was damaged by some miscreants and in this regard, the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 16.07.2016 to the fourth respondent. However, so far, no response is forth coming. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though he sought permission to repair the damages at his own expenses, the same was not permitted. The petitioner in this regard, has also submitted a representation dated 27.07.2016 to the respondents 1 to 3 and since no orders have been passed, he came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Thirumoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1,2 & 4 and Mr. P.V. Selvakumar, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent. 4.Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2016, in accordance with law, and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
