PRAYER:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the petitioner's complaint dated 31.07.2023 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for fence off his property measuring to an total extent of about 3.37 acre bearing Patta No.184 comprised in Survey Nos.66/1, 66/3A, 66/3B in Pattuturai Village, Thalaivasal Taluk, Salem District and the same within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to deal with the complaint dated 31.07.2023 and to provide police protection to the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instruction submitted that the respondent-police has not received any representation. It was further submitted that if the petitioner comes in person and give complaint, the same will be considered on its own merits and decision will be taken.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit a complaint in person to the respondent police and the same shall be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law and a decision will be taken. No Costs.
