ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition was challenging the proceedings of the second respondent herein dated 10.12.2014, wherein, the second respondent has cancelled the earlier order dated 24.01.2014, whereby the petitioner's services were regularized. Though this Court had set aside the impugned order dated 10.12.2014, the order has not been complied till date and hence, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

The District Forest Officer/second respondent herein, has filed a counter-affidavit dated 20.03.2024 and in paragraph 4 of the same, it is stated that the orders passed in Se.Mu.Aa.No.P2/8351/2013 dated 10.12.2014 was cancelled and the service of the petitioner Thiru.Deiveegan was also regularized in the post of Forest Watcher with effect from 03.02.1995 on par with his junior Thiru.S.Sekar. His pay has also been fixed accordingly.

3. In view of the same, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and hence, the disobedience alleged in the Writ Petition cannot be termed to be wilful in nature, in view of the compliance of the order of the Writ Court.
