By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.
2. The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to regularize the petitioners services in the cadre post of Forest watcher notionally by giving relaxation in respect of height as the same was done for the similarly place persons like the petitioners namely V.Chinnavan and 11 others on 20.04.2022 with effect from 24.01.1995 for the purpose of getting pension by considering the petitioners representation dated 08.09.2023 in the light of the order passed in 2/6
W.P.No.9708 of 2014 dated 12.09.2014 same was affirmed by the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A.No.1703 of 2014 dated 20.01.2015, and similar case was implemented by the first respondent in G.O.(2D).No.58, Environment, Climate Change and Forests (FR.2(II)) Department dated 20.04.2022 all consequential benefits within time limit fixed by this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have joined in the services of Plot Watchers at Social Forestry Divisions from 1979 to 1986 respectively and after rendering 20 years of service, they were brought into the regular time scale of pay in the cadre of Forest Watchers. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioners have given a representation to the respondents on 08.09.2023 claiming promotion on par with their juniors and such representation is pending with the respondents.
5. At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that they will consider the 3/6
petitioners' representation in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 08.09.2023 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
