..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records connected with the proceedings of the 3rd respondent and made in M.M.No. 31010/P U R (2)/2011 dt 17.11.2011 and quash the same and after quashing the same direct the respondents to revise the pension benefits payable to the petitioner, as per the various G.O.s and also the orders passed by this Honourable Court including the service rendered by the petitioner from 1.1.1961 to till 30.9.1977 also as his (petitioner) service period of calculating the pensionary benefits.

Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned.
2. Though the prayer is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if this Court passes an order directing the 4th respondent to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner, dated 16.2.2012, within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, the 4th respondent is directed to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner, dated 16.2.2012, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as the other persons concerned, if any. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 16.2.2012, to the 4th respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
