This application is presented by the paternal grand parents of the minor child. They seek access to the child. The minor child is about six years old and she is in the custody of the mother at Cuddalore. By this application, the grand parents seek access on fortnightly basis.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has no objection to providing access in her presence. He states that the grand parents have previously attempted to influence the child against the mother. In response, learned counsel for the applicant states that the order may be made conditional on the grand parents not seeking to adversely influence the child against the mother.

3. Upon considering the above, this application is allowed on the following terms:

rna (i) the applicants are permitted access to the child by visiting Cuddalore once a fortnight. The child may be picked up from the mother's house by the applicants on Saturday morning at about 10.00 A.M. The applicants shall hand over the child to the mother on or before 5.00 P.M on Sunday.

(ii) the above permission is subject to the condition that the applicants shall not adversely influence the child against the mother in any manner. This arrangement shall continue until the matter is heard next.

4. List the matter on 12.01.2023.
