ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) Post the Appeal after two weeks for final hearing. 2.

There shall be an interim stay of further proceedings in the decree and judgment dated 21.03.2023 in OS No. 5273 of 2019 (CS No. 877 of 2013), passed by the XX Additional District and Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Allikulam, Chennai, on condition that the petitioners deposit a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty Lakhs Only) to the credit of OS No. 5273 of 2019 (CS No. 877 of 2013), passed by the XX Additional District and Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Allikulam, Chennai within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Failing which, the interim stay granted, stands vacated without any further orders from the Court.

On such deposit, the Trial Court is directed to invest the said amount in any one of the nationalised bank in an interest bearing deposit scheme and renew the deposit periodically.
