O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to consider his representation dated 11.0.2024 and issue a joint patta in respect of properties situated in Survey No.2/2A1 at Duraimangalam and Survey No.167/7B, at Perambalur South, Perambalur.

2. According to the petitioner, the above mentioned property originally belonged to his maternal grandfather viz., Senkan @ Annamalai. He died in the year 1979, leaving behind his son and daughters including petitioner's mother Palaniammal. In the patta issued for the above mentioned property, the names of the petitioner's mother Palaniammal and two other siblings, were not included. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 11.06.2024 seeking inclusion of the names of petitioner's mother Palaniammal and her siblings viz., Ponnammal and Ponnusamy in the revenue records. The said representation is not considered till date and 2/5

therefore, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on its own merits within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.06.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing notice to all the necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
