PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to call for the records relating to the proceedings in DVA No.131 of 2022 on the file of the Special Court for Domestic Violence Act Cases, at Coimbatore and to set aside the same insofar as the petitioners are concerned, and to grant such further or other reliefs. The civil revision petition is filed to call for the records relating to the proceedings in DVA No.131 of 2022 on the file of the Special Court for Domestic Violence Act Cases, at Coimbatore and to set aside the same insofar as the petitioners are concerned, and to grant such further or other reliefs.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned counsel for the parties submitted that pending DVA No.131 of 2022, the petitioner and the respondent have entered into a compromise at mediation. The said compromise memo dated 19.12.2023 was signed by the parties and duly attested by their respective counsel and the same was produced before this Court. Learned counsel for the parties further submitted that both parties do not have any objection to quash DVA No.131 of 2022 pending on the file of the Special Court for DVC cases.

3. Recording the submissions made by the counsel for the parties and in view of the compromise entered into between the parties at mediation, the proceedings in DVA No.131 of 2022 before the Special Court for Domestic Violence Cases, at Coimbatore, is quashed against all the persons and the civil revision petition is allowed. The memo of compromise shall form part of the order. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, CMP No.23171 of 2023 is closed.
