This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.318 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the FIR was registered in the year 2013 and the petitioners approached the respondent on various dates to expedite the investigation but till now no action has been taken. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioners prayed for a direction to the respondent police to file final report within a stipulated time frame.
3.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondent.
4.Since the First Information Report has been filed in the year 2013 and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to complete the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
investigation and file final report in Crime No.318 of 2013 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
