O R D E R

This civil revision petition has been filed by the defendants in OS.No.50 of 2017, seeking direction for early disposal of the suit. 2.A perusal of the docket orders passed in the suit shows that the pleadings were complete and the suit was posted for trial even before the Covid-19 lockdown. However, in view of the lockdown and the fact that the plaintiff filed various applications seeking amendment of the plaint, the suit has not been proceeded. It is seen from the records that the application in IA.No.3 of 2021 is pending.

3.Heard Mr.M.Sridhar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the IA.No.3 of 2021 is an application, seeking permission to carry out the amendment in which, the petitioners as defendants in the suit cannot have any objection.

5.In view of the above and the fact that the suit has been pending without any progress for nearly three years, the learned Additional District Munsif, Namakkal is directed to dispose of the suit within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report such disposal to this Court.

6.This civil revision petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
