Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the responden to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2014 and consequently to issue patta to the petitioner with reference to her property comprised in Town Survey No. 181, Block No.2, Maligaicheri, Thanthoni Amman Koil Street, Villivakkam, Chennai - 49 of an extent of 1504 sq.ft.

The petitioner made a representation on 10.01.2014 seeking issuance of patta for the property situated in Town Survey No. 181, Block No.2, Maligaicheri, Thanthoni Amman Koil Street, Villivakkam, Chennai - 49 measuring an extent of 1504 sq.ft. In the said representation, the petitioner has stated that the subject property was obtained after the family partition on 10.02.2013 According to the petitioner, though an inspection was conducted on 10.02.2014, there was no further action and therefore, another representation was given on 19.08.2015. Despite the same, there is no further action. Hence, the present writ petition.

Considering the above, the respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 19.08.2015, on merits, in accordance with law and after affording a reasonable opportunity https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to all parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
