PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to appoint an enquiry officer to take further action into the matter by considering representation of the petitioner's dated 21.08.2024, in accordance with law. ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to take a decision on the complaint preferred by the petitioner herein. 2.Short point involved in this case is that during a pendency of a civil suit, the 2nd respondent, the Tahsildhar and the 4th respondent, the Village Administrative Officer have transferred the patta of the land involved in the civil suit in favour of the 5th respondent. Alleging that this had occasioned on receipt of illegal gratification, the petitioner had preferred a complaint to V & AC, the 1st respondent herein, and he seeks a direction from this Court to the 1st respondent to dispose of the same at the very earliest. 2/4

3.Dr.C.E.Pratap, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the said complaint has been forwarded to the District Collector, who is not a party to the present proceeding for taking appropriate action at his end on the said complaint.

4.Since the District Collector is not a party, this Court suo motu impleads him as a 6th respondent. The learned Prosecutor takes notice on behalf of the newly impleaded 6th respondent.

5.The 6th respondent is now required to dispose of the complaint pending before him within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, but strictly in accordance with law. 6.This Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
