This writ petition has been filed seeking for police protection based on the representations made by the petitioner on 17.07.2023 & 24.07.2023. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the representations were given before the District Collector and the same has been forwarded to the 3rd respondent police.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the representations have not been received by the 3rd respondent police. 2/4

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to give a complaint in person before the 3rd respondent and the 3rd respondent shall conduct an enquiry and take a decision in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of complaint from the petitioner.
