This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2024 and to correct the date of birth details in the SSLC and HSC Mark sheets and Transfer Certificate as per the petitioner's corrected date of birth based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2024.

2. The date of birth of the petitioner has wrongly mentioned in the school records as 29.04.1973 instead of 26.05.1974. Hence, the petitioner made a representation before the respondents on 27.06.2024 to alter the wrong of date of birth and issue fresh Mark sheets with correct date of birth.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that

admittedly, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents, but they have no power to modify the certificates, the petitioner has to approach the Director of School Education in this regard.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the petitioner to make a representation to the Director of School Education. Upon receipt of the representation, the Director of School Education shall consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 27.06.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 21.08.2024 rli
