Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the basis of their placement in the State Wide Seniority list drawn as per G.O.Ms.No.64, Environment and Forests(F2) Department dated 08.03.1999 without insisting for any conditions other than what is mentioned in the said Government Order without omitting the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner prays to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the basis of their placement in the State Wide Seniority list drawn as per G.O.Ms.No.64, Environment and Forests(F2) Department dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

08.03.1999 without insisting for any conditions other than what is mentioned in the said Government Order without omitting the petitioner.

2.When the matter was called on 21.06.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner and therefore, the matter was directed to be posted on 22.06.2018 under the caption "for dismissal".

When the matter was called on 22.06.2018, Mr.M.Muruganantham, learned Junior counsel representing the learned counsel on record submitted, that he has given the bundle back to the client in the year 2014 by revoking his vakalat, and on his request, the party name was printed and the Registry was directed to verify, whether any change of vakalat has been filed for the petitioner and post the matter on 25.06.2018 under the caption " for dismissal". Even today, (i.e) 25.06.2018, when the matter is called there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
