Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey and fix boundary stones with relation to the property comprised in S.No.96/2 & 96/5, located in Purangani Village, Kadampuliyur Post, Panruti Taluk, as per the Tamil Nadu Survey & Boundaries Act, 1923, and also the respondents 2 & 8 to provide the necessary protection to respondents 5 to 7 while discharging their duties.

O R D E R
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 5 to 7 to survey the land situated in S.No.96/2 and 96/5 at Purangani Village, Kadampuliyur Post, Panruti Taluk.
2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner claims right over the above mentioned property under the gift deed on 17.03.2021 executed by his sister Rajakumari. He submitted an application on 06.06.2023 seeking survey of the land before the fifth respondent.
3. It is seen from the typed set of papers, the survey of the land was opposed by the respondents 9 & 10 and therefore, the fifth respondent could not complete the survey of the land.

4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1, 3 to 7 would submit that the request of the petitioners seeking survey of the land as per application dated 06.06.2023 would be completed within a time frame fixed by this Court in accordance with law.
5. In view of the fact, survey of the petitioners' land had been opposed by the respondents 9 & 10, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioners for survey of the land in the application dated 06.06.2023 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the respondents 9 & 10, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
