Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to take action based on the proceedings dated 6.5.2022 in O.Mu.A4/2931/2022 issued by the second respondent. ORDER
(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) P.Chinnadurai, son of Ponnusamy, a resident of Kollapadi Peiyavenmani Post, Kunnam Circle, Perambalur District, has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to take action based on the proceedings dated 6.5.2022 in O.Mu.A4/2931/2022 issued by the second respondent.
2. Mr.R.Rajasekar, learned counsel for the petitioner, drawing our attention to the memorandum dated 6.5.2022 issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Perambalur, submitted that the grievance ventilated by the petitioner vide representation dated 26.4.2022 that one Rayappan and his sons, all belonging to Kolapadi Village, have constructed toilet and bathroom on the Kolapadi-Melamathur Road, which resulted in stagnation of sewerage water causing health hazards; and that they had further raised Karuvelam Trees nearby the Thar Road thereby encroaching the place, was forwarded to the fourth respondent herein with a direction to take appropriate action. However, till date no action was taken by the fourth respondent. Hence, the petitioner has been advised to file the present writ petition.

Considering the fact that the second respondent vide memorandum dated 6.5.2022 had already directed the fourth respondent to take appropriate action qua the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the fourth respondent to implement the order
dated 6.5.2022 passed by the second respondent and take necessary action in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There will be no order as to costs.
