O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to reinvestigate the case in C.C.No.59/2022, on the file of the learned District Magistrate cum Judicial Magistrate, Ranipet.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint alleging that the accused forged the petitioner's signature and created false document. Based on this, they obtained jewels from the bank. However, the respondent registered the F.I.R in Crime No.516 of 2022 only against some of the accused and not against the bank officials.

3. Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), for the respondent submits that after the registration of the complaint, the respondent police has completed the investigation, filed the final report and the same has been taken cognizance of in C.C.No.59 of 2022.

4. So far, the prosecution has examined P.W. 1 to P.W.19 and petitioner being examined as P.W. 1. If there are any specific allegations against persons who were not arrayed as accused in the F.I.R., the petitioner may invoke the provisions under Section 216 and 319 of the Cr.P.C., before the trial court, based on the strength of the evidence. Therefore, reinvestigation cannot be ordered. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 04.02.2025 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No
