This application has been filed under Order I Rule 8 CPC seeking for permission from this Court to sue in a representative capacity.

2. The first applicant / plaintiff claims that they are acting in the interest of CSI Thoothukudi - Nazareth Diocese and they are interested in the proper administration of the Diocese. According to them, numerous members of the said Diocese are aggrieved by the notice dated 28.10.2021 issued by the first respondent / first defendant, who also support the legal action initiated by the petitioners / plaintiffs. Under such circumstances, they have sought permission to file the suit in a representative capacity.

3. This Court has perused and examined the contents of the affidavit and is satisfied that leave can be granted to the applicants / plaintiffs as prayed for in Application No.4036 of 2021.
