(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.) This petition is filed to grant leave to the petitioner to file the above writ petition.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the order dated 27.05.2024 passed by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), some directions were issued to remove the lock and seal.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that at his instance, the lock and seal notice was issued by the Chennai Corporation and subsequently also, a similar order was passed. According to the petitioner, the NCLT has no inherent jurisdiction to issue such directions.

4. The contention of the petitioner is not seriously disputed by Mr.G.Gautham Ram Vittal, learned counsel representing the learned Liquidator/ 6th respondent.

5. We are not examining for the present, the merits of the order passed by the NCLT. This petition is ordered, without prejudice to the contentions of the respondents on the merits of the writ petition. (S.S.S.R., J.) (P.D.B., J.) 15.11.2024 gya 2/3
