ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai to complete the trial in C.C.No.411 of 2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Today, Mr.Mohammed Nazer, Sub Inspector of Police, CCB Team-III, Chennai is present before the Court.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the accused initially was charge sheeted in C.C.No.411 of 2014 before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and thereafter, the case has been transferred to the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate for CCB and CB CID Cases in Allikulam and now, the same is pending before the said Court. He further submitted that the Non-Bailable Warrant is pending against the accused from 05.07.2016 and may be the accused did not know about the transfer of the case from the file of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore to the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate for CCB and CB CID Cases, Allikulam.

5. The police is directed to secure the presence of the accused expeditiously and produce him before the trial Court. Thereafter, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial expeditiously.
