O R D E R
(By J.Nisha Banu,J.) This Writ Petition has been filed, challenging the online rejection order in Application Number in TN 5202503108018 dated NIL by the respondent. The petitioner also sought a direction to the respondent to issue the online community certificate to the petitioner that he belongs to Kurichchan (ST) community based upon the community certificate already issued to the petitioner's children, namely, P.Madhurisha Mani and P.Pandithraj and his family members.
2. Mr.Vadivel Deenadayalan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he belongs to Kurichchan Community, which is classified as Scheduled Tribe community and he studied upto 8th standard. On earlier occasion, he did not apply for community certificate, whereas his children had already obtained community certificates on 02.03.2020 and 07.08.2023 from the respondent 2/6
to the effect that they belong to Kurichchan (ST) Community. His siblings also obtained community certificate from the respondent. It is further case of the petitioner that he has now applied for online community certificate, as his daughter is undergoing 11th standard and he requires community certificate now for the reason that in case of seeking admission in MBBS/BDS for her daughter under ST category, the community certificate of father is a vital document. However, the respondent, without conducting any enquiry, has simply rejected the application on flimsy reasons.

Per contra, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent contended that on a perusal of the impugned order, it is evident that the application has not been rejected by the respondent and it has been returned for want of supporting documents. In case the petitioner is able to produce all the documents required by the respondent, the application of the petitioner would be considered as per law.
5. The petitioner has filed this petition on the presumption that 3/6
his application for community certificate has been rejected by the respondent. Whereas a perusal of the impugned order reveals that his application has been returned for enclosure of certain documents by the petitioner, as rightly pointed out by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent. Hence, the petitioner is directed to appear before the 1st respondent and produce all the documents in proof of his claim that he belongs to Kurichchan (ST) Community. Upon production of relevant documents by the petitioner, the 1st respondent is directed consider the same and take a decision in respect of issuance of community certificate to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt all documents from the petitioner.
