Respondents Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order dated 12.09.2024 made in W.P.No.26580 of 2024.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the proceedings of the Inspector General of Registration dated 14.08.2025 were placed before this Court. It is seen that the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner has been dropped and the petitioner has been permitted to retire from service. The consequential proceedings of the District Registrar dated 18.08.2025 were also placed before this Court, wherein permission has been granted to pay the pension and other retirement benefits to the petitioner.

2. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to settle the retirement benefits in favour of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the light of the above direction, pension shall also be paid to the petitioner. This contempt petition stands closed in the above terms.
