The petitioner, alleging non-compliance of the order passed by this Court dated 04.04.2022 in W.P.No.7924 of 2022, has filed the present contempt petition.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that in compliance of the directions of this Court, the Joint Director of Horticulture, Uthagamandalam has considered the representation of the petitioner dated 04.03.2022 and rejected the claim of the petitioner vide Proceedings in Lr.No.A8/8164/2022 dated 23.06.2022 and the said rejection order was also communicated to the petitioner on 27.06.2022.

3. In view of the above, the Contempt Petition stands closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved, it is open to him to challenge the aforesaid proceedings in the manner known to law.
