ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 06.02.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.2534 of 2024, thereby directing the respondent to conclude the

departmental proceedings pending as against the petitioner and pass final orders in accordance with law, within a period of three months. 2.

The learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy) appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent concluded the departmental proceedings and exonerated the petitioner from the charges against him. Further stated that the terminal benefits, as admissible under Rules, will be paid to the petitioner. He also produced a copy of the order dated 01.10.2024, passed by the respondent before this Court.

Recording the above submissions, this Contempt Petition is closed. The respondent is directed to disburse the terminal benefits to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
