Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to execute the sale deed in favour of the petitioner in respect of the Plot No. 1 measuring about 947 sq.ft. comprised in R.S.No.1012 at Kailasapuram Co-operative housing society, Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai Mylapore, Chennai vide allotment order dated 30.06.1979 (originally allotted to the deceased husband of the petitioner) based on her representation dated 06.07.2019. O R D E R

According to the petitioner, petitioner sent representation, dated 6.7.2019 to the third respondent to execute sale deed in favour of the petitioner in respect of the subject matter of the property as mentioned in the writ petition. The said representation is still pending with the third respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. Now, the petitioner seeks direction to the third respondent to consider his representation and pass orders.

2. In view of the limited scope of the prayer as sought for by the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on merit, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 6.7.2019 and pass orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
