ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondent to produce the petitioner's husband namely Konjiadaikkan, S/o. Chinnaraju, aged about 38 years, before this Court and set him at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2. The petitioner is the wife of the detenu seeking his presence before this Court. From the status report filed, it appears that apart from some misunderstanding, there is also a civil dispute. The status report also reveals the efforts taken by the respondent till now.

3. Thus, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending any longer and the Habeas Petition stands closed. However, the respondent/police shall proceed with the investigation. As and when the detenu is secured, he should be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
