This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in the above Crime No.3 of 2021 as early as possible pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. The petitioner/defacto complainant had lodged a complaint against her in-laws for dowry harassment and cruelty. Though the case was registered on 16.02.2021, no action has been taken so far.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that in this case, investigation was completed and charge sheet was made ready on 15.11.2021 and filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Poondamallee, against the three accused for the offence under Section 498(A) of IPC and Section 4 of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Dowry Prohibition Act read with 34 of IPC. The Lower Court is yet to take the case on file.

4. Finding that the charge sheet was filed on 15.11.2021, the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Poondamallee, is directed to take the charge sheet on file and issue summons without any further delay.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
