Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent herein relating to his order dated 04.01.2007 made in his proceedings K.Dis.No.53163/F4/96 and quash the same and directing the respondents to rectify the pay anamoly by refixing petitioner's pay on par with the pay of petitioner's junior Tmt.M. ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the impugned order was passed in proceedings K.Dis.No.53163/F4/96 dated 04.01.2007 by the first respondent and directing the respondents to rectify the pay anamoly by re-fixing the petitioner's pay on par with the pay of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner's junior Tmt.M. Kowsalya as on 02.07.2002 with eligibility for arrears.

2. Counter affidavit has been filed by the first respondent stating that the petitioner himself has filed the writ petition before this Court. The Director of Collegiate Education dated 12.09.2017 stating that since the petitioner is due to retire from service in the year 2019 due to superannuation, he has inclined to withdraw this writ petition in W.P.No.26817 of 2007 filed before this Court. Therefore, he requested the first respondent to take appropriate steps to dismiss the said writ petition by way of permitting to withdraw this writ petition and a copy of the letter given by the writ petitioner also produced before this Court.

2. Recording the above said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
