PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to call for the records pertaining to the Crime No.6 of 2017 on the file of the All Women Police Station, Adyar and to quash the same.

When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioner as well as the second respondent/complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. Both the petitioner and the second respondent produced their identity proof before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl. Side) for the first respondent.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending proceedings in Crime No.6 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Adyar, the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent/complainant and the petitioner have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the petitioner and the respondent / complainant have filed a compromise affidavit dated 13.09.2019 stating that they have no objection if the proceedings in Crime No.6 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Adyar is quashed.

4.Recording the statements made by both the petitioner and respondent / complainant in the affidavit filed by them dated 13.09.2019, the entire proceedings in Crime No.6 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Adyar is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
