This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 41 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the Judgment dated 24.04.2023 in Spl.S.C.No.159 of 2019 (Old Spl. S.C.No.15 of 2019) on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of POCSO Act Cases, Chengalpet.

2. Mr.S.Sugendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent did not raise any serious objection in allowing this petition.

3. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.
