PRAYER:

Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 to punish the respondent for by willfully and deliberately disobeying the orders passed by this Court order dated 22.12.2021 made in WP.No.22347 of 2021.

ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 22.12.2021 in WP.No.22347 of 2021, thereby directed the respondent to conduct enquiry after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks.

2. Mr.S.P.Karthik, learned Government Advocate representing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the respondent already conducted detailed enquiry and passed order by order dated 16.03.2022 by recommending to cancel the transfer of patta, to the Revenue Divisional Officer, thereby complied the order passed by this Court. 3.

Recording the above submission, this contempt petition is closed. However, since the enquiry is now pending on the file of the Revenue 2/4

Divisional Officer concerned, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurandhagam, Chengalpet District is directed to pass appropriate orders on the recommendation of the respondent herein as expeditiously as possible. 14.10.2022 Speaking Order/Non Speaking Order Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes lok 3/4
