This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to call for the records of the proceedings in Crime No.935 of 2010 on the file of the E-3, Teynampet Police Station, Chennai and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 2nd respondent.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in Crime No.935 of 2010 has been completed and the case has been closed as "mistake of fact" as early as 20.04.2011 and the closure report has already been filed before the Metropolitan Magistrate No.XVIII, Saidapet, Chennai.
