By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
The petitioner would state that he belongs to HinduAdi Dravidar Community and he claims to be in possession of landed property admeasuring to an extent of 0.79.5 Hectares in SF.No.416/5 and 1.16.0 Hectares in SF.No.424/1 situate at Thottakajunur Village, Thalavadi Taluk, Erode District, by virtue of a Will dated 10.10.1989 and executed by his uncle Sadaiyappa @ Prakasappa and claims to be in possession. According to the petitioner, originally, a conditional patta was granted and after the execution of the Will, he claims to be in possession and enjoyment of the said land for over 30 years, doing agricultural work and in the form of representation dated 09.07.2016 to the respondents, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of permanent patta without any conditions and since no orders have been passed, the petitioner has come forward to file the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf fo the respondents. This Court, taking into consideration, the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
