The above Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to suspend the order of conviction and sentence dated 20.04.2022 made in Criminal Appeal No. 72/2020 on the file of XXIII Additional Judge, Sessions Court, Allikulam, Chennai by confirming the order dated 12.02.2020 made in C.C.No. 9447 of 2018 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.2, Egmore, Allikulam pending disposal of the revision petition.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 14.09.2022, this Court has observed as follows;

"In view of the above, the substantive sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended till 27.09.2022 on condition that the petitioner shall deposit the entire compensation as ordered by the trial Court to the credit of C.C.No. 9447 of 2018 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.2, Egmore, Allikulam, failing which, the suspension of sentence granted in favour of the petitioner shall automatically cancelled without further reference to this Court."

Ak Today, it is represented by the learned counsel for the respondent that the petitioner has not complied with the aforesaid conditions. The learned counsel for the petitioner has not raised any objections for the said submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondent. In view of the above, the present Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. The Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.2, Egmore, Allikulam is directed to take steps to secure the petitioner/accused. 27.09.2022 ak Copy to :
