ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to conduct further investigation to include all the offense committed by the Accused in Crime No.0244 of 2021.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The petitioner/tenant had lodged a complaint against the owner and a case has been registered in Crime No.0244 of 2021 for the offence under Section 341, 427 and 34 of I.P.C. Thereafter, no action has been taken.

4.The grievance of the petitioner is that despite serious offences committed including taking away jewels of 20 sovereigns of gold and household articles and cash of Rs.1,40,000/-, necessary offenses have not been included.

5.The learned Public Prosecutor submits that the investigation is still in progress and if the petitioner has got materials in support of the contention, the same would be considered.

6.Considering the same, this Court directs the petitioner to produce the relevant materials to the respondent police and thereafter, the respondent police shall consider the same and take necessary action for alteration of the offences. 7.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
