This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to based on the complaint dated 25.07.2019 and direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to Annual Pongal festival which is to be held on 03.09.2019 in Senjilampalayam, 1/2

Sri Unnja Marathukaruparayan Kovil, Nambiyur Taluk, Erode District.

2. The prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous, since the date on which the petitioner intended to conduct the Pongal festival has lapsed. Hence, the Writ Petition stands closed.
