The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) and 29(1) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.449 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, 10.09.2025, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police filed a counter affidavit, stating that the petitioner is not the accused in the above said crime number and there are two cases pending against the petitioner in 1) T4 PS Cr.No.491/2025 under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(B), 25, 29(1) of NDPS Act, and 2) R10 MGR Nagar PS Cr.No.106/2024 under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(B), 25, 29(1) of NDPS Act.
