ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the sum of Rs.14,91,605/- due and payable to the petitioner for the work completed from 2009-2021, based on the representation made by the petitioner on 11.04.2025.

2.When the writ petition came up for hearing on 15.07.2025, this Court directed the learned Standing Counsel for respondents to take instructions. Accordingly, the matter was directed to be listed for hearing today.

3/6 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel submitted that the representation made by the petitioner is already under consideration and since it involves referring to files for the period from 2009-2021, some time is required to finalize and make the payment to the petitioner.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and also the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, there shall be a direction to respondents to finalize the representation made by the petitioner on 11.04.2025 and pay the amounts due and payable to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
