This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to transfer the investigation in Crime No.113 of 2015 pending on the file of the 1st respondent to some other investigating agency preferably CB-CID, Villupuram, Villupuram District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by one Kandan petitioner herein, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.113 of 2015 and after completing the investigation, the case has been closed as "mistake of fact" on 13.06.2015.
