O R D E R

This petition has been filed challenging the condition imposed by the Court below, while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

2. The respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.75 of 2019, for an offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act.

3. The petitioners apprehended arrest by the respondent police and hence filed an anticipatory bail petition before the Court below. The Court below, after taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case was pleased to grant https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

anticipatory bail to the petitioners, subject to the certain conditions.

4. The petitioners are aggrieved by the condition No. (iii), wherein, the petitioners were directed to sign before the Judicial Magistrate, Valparai, daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners are permanent residents at Coimbatore and Valparai is nearly 143 Km from Coimbatore and it takes nearly 04.00 hours to reach the Court. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioners will report before the respondent police and the petitioners are not in a position to report before the Judicial Magistrate, Valparai.

6. Heard, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

7. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case , condition No.(iii) imposed by the Court below, is modified to the effect that the petitioners will appear before the respondent police as and when required in the course of investigation.

8. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
