Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 21.07.2015 for issuance of community certificates to the petitioner and his daughter R.Pranitha and R.Haritha Reddy that they belong to the Konda Reddis community (Scheduled Tribe).

(Order of the Court was made by HULUVADI G. RAMESH,J.) Heard Mr.V.Vijay Shankar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.A.Srijayanthi, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.

2. It is averred in the Writ Petition that the petitioner belongs to Konda Reddis Community, which is classified as Schedule Tribe Community and he applied to the RDO, Mettur Dam, seeking issuance of community certificate. Since there was no response, the petitioner moved this court by filing W.P.No.315 of 2014, wherein this court directed the 2nd respondent to consider the application and pass orders. respondent rejected the petitioner's request by proceedings dated 18.03.2015. As against the same, the petitioner filed appeal dated 21.07.2015 before the Collector and Chairman, District Level Scrutiny Committee and now he is before this court seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 21.07.2015.

3. Considering the averments made in the Writ Petition and also the submission made on behalf of the counsel for the petitioner, we direct the Collector and Chairman, District Level Scrutiny Committee, to consider the appeal dated 21.07.2015 filed by the petitioner after getting the vigilance report with regard to communal status sought for by the petitioner and pass necessary orders in accordance with law by duly following the guidelines issued by this court in the judgment dated 21.12.2015 in the case of G.Venkitasamy Vs. The Chairman, State Level Scrutiny Committee and Secretary to Government, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
